Young Author Reshel Bretny Fernandes Honored with Rabindranath Tagore Book Award

Reshel Bretny Fernandes, a youthful writer and eloquent speaker, has achieved recognition on international and national levels. Her passion for writing began in childhood, and she has now launched her second book, BHARAT @2047—Role of Youth, in celebration of Independence Day.

She is the first young author to tackle such a remarkable topic, which explores the significance of youth in this amritkal as India (Bharat) approaches its 100th year of Independence. It emphasizes the need to celebrate this milestone with the perspectives and ideas of the younger generation, highlighting the contributions of youth in the past and their current impact in shaping the future through engagement in various fields with a purpose.

She dedicated the book to her grandfather, SGT Alex Monis Moodbidri, who dedicated 36 years of service to the Indian Air Force.

For addressing such an extraordinary topic, the DRDC council in New Delhi recognized Reshel with the esteemed Rabindranath Tagore Book Award.
